Witches Balls appear in numerous sources from a variety of Witchcraft pathways. Their contents will include a selection of objects including herbs, resins, roots, woods, nails, personal objects and even hair.

They are made and treated much like Witches Bottles - they simply need to be hung wherever you would like their energy to emanate.

Our Witches Balls contain a potent blend of magical herbs, berries, roots, barks, woods and flowers which have been infused with Crystal Energy. The blend has then been added to an extra-large glass sphere and its magical energy has been sealed with coloured beeswax. A coloured satin ribbon adorns the top of the ball bringing the vibration of the corresponding colour into the energetic mix. Finally, a silver pentacle charm is added to the top for the final touch.

Each Witches Ball has been charged on our Altar for its intended purpose under the appropriate Moon Phase.

Each ball comes wrapped and packaged in it's own box with an information sheet.

The witch ball originated among cultures where harmful magic and those who practiced it were feared. They are one of many folk practices involving objects for protecting the household. The term witch ball may be a corruption of watch ball because it was used to ward off, guard against, evil spirits. 

They may be hung in an eastern window, placed on top of a vase or suspended by a cord (as from the mantelpiece or rafters). They may also be placed on sticks in windows or hung in rooms where inhabitants wanted to ward off evil.

Superstitious European sailors valued the talismanic powers of the witch balls in protecting their homes.

Over time the philosophy of what a Witch Ball is and should be has changed. Various traditions artists over the years have altered the Witch Ball to include vibrant colours, herbs, resins, objects, oils, crystals and other curios.

While our Witches Balls are created to protect your space, we’ve also worked our magic to create blends that can be used to draw other beneficial energies into your home.

Each of our Witches Balls have been created using delicate glass spheres filled with a variety of herbs, resins and crystals that combine to form potent energetic blends. 

One thing we get asked over and over is requests from customers asking when items will be back in stock so we thought we would create this little information tab to give a bit more context to our answers.

In short, if an item on the website is showing as out of stock - then chances are fairly high that we don't have it (even in the shop itself) - but the page will give you an option to pop in your email address so that when the item is restocked, it will send you a notification.

With regards to lead times on when things will be back, we cannot give you a timescale for any of the items. As many of you may, or may not know, we make 95% of the items ourselves. Because of this, everything is made on rotation, during various phases of the moon, and needs to be charged in some format before it hits our shelves. There is no timescale for this, we make things as quickly as we can in as big a batch as we can without is becoming a commercial production line. You will notice that certain things go out of stock quicker than others - this tends to be because when items come back, customers will buy multiples of that item - and so that bigger batch sells just as quick.

So, if you are looking for an item that says its out of stock, please do not chase us asking when they will be back in - we won't be able to give you any times. Please just pop your email address in the notification box and you'll get a reminder as soon as we have made some more.

Some customers have 'politely' informed us that we clearly need more staff or need to make bigger batches of things. Unfortunately, we aren't going to do either. We want to keep this a small independent, non-production-line based business - and we also want to make sure that the products we created are made by us and charged by us.

We promise, the products that we produce are worth the wait. And most importantly - are authentic - as opposed to mass produced crap!
