Thor's Hammer

The Thor's Hammer or Hammer of Thor is an ancient Norse symbol. In Norse mythology, Thor is the god of thunder and his hammer (called Mjölnir) has the power of lightning. During the era of Viking ascendancy, miniature Thor's Hammers were often used as religious amulets. Today, the Hammer is a major symbol for those who follow neo-Norse religions such as Asatru.

Please note our wood slices are natural products. The shape will vary from the picture shown. All dimensions are approximate. The bark may not completely cover the edge of the slice. 

As these are a natural product we will not offer refunds or replacements for slices that are not round, have missing bark or are not the same size.

All of our Wood Slices are made from Japanese Paulownia Wood which is one of the fastest growing hard-woods available. This means that they slices are ethically and sustainably sourced - which is really important for us.

Coincidentally, bringing the Paulownia Wood into your space also attracts the energy of Abundance and Protection - and who doesn’t want that energy in their space?

Our paulownia wood comes from the middle of an ornamental tree which have a naturally occurring hole down the middle of the tree. Being natural products, depending on which tree your slice comes from a small natural hole in the middle of the slice may appear.
